A special event for a special day! Let's talk about mathematics on π day!

Note: visitors are encouraged to support Dim Sum Labs's mission to
offer a home to the local tech community by making a small donation on
the night (~50HKD, cash preferred).

Introduction and Welcome. Introduce the concept of Pi Day. Provide a
brief overview of the event's agenda and activities.

The History of Pi and Buffon's Needles Experiment. Present a
historical context of pi, from ancient civilizations to modern times.
Discuss the contributions of mathematicians such as Archimedes,
Euclid, and Isaac Newton. Introduce the concept of Buffon's needles, a
mathematical experiment that estimates the value of pi. Conduct a live
demonstration of the experiment, using a large sheet of paper with
parallel lines and a set of needles.
