Dim Sum Labs is Hong Kong's first hackerspace. Since 2011, we provide a
space for creative, inquisitive and playful minds to hack the universe.

Like every other space on planet earth where people gather, our
hackerspace has struggled over the past year. Dim Sum Labs is a
non-profit community-funded operation. We rely on membership fees and
donations to cover the cost of rent and utilities. Travel restrictions
and other factors have cost us several members in the last year.
Simultaneously, our income from donations has dropped considerably since
we've not been able to organise regular events and workshops.

With the current number of members, Dim Sum Labs is not long-term
sustainable.

If you've got some spare cash to help a struggling hackerspace, we would
appreciate your support. The "spot donations" button on
https://www.dimsumlabs.com/ lets you make a one-off HK$25/50/100
donation. If you're feeling particularly generous, you can make a
monthly donation using the button on our supporter page:
https://www.dimsumlabs.com/support-us/.

With vaccines now widely available, we look forward to life in Hong Kong
returning to some semblance of normal in the foreseeable future. If
you're based here, please consider becoming a member. You'll get 24x7
access to the hackerspace and all the tools and toys within. You also
get your very own "do not hack" box to store your stuff.

Our membership fees are HK$700 for regular members or HK$300 if you can
convince us you're a student. Starving hacker discounts can be
considered on a case-by-case basis too. Send me an email if you're
interested. Or drop by for Hackjam on any Tuesday evening.

Thanks for your consideration.

Philip
