There will be a talk at Dim Sum Labs on **Thursday 23 July 2020** about
methane pollution and ways to detect it.
Details:
Natural gas is overtaking coal in the energy race, leading to methane
leaks – an environmental enemy 100x larger than CO2, and there is no
way to detect it at such a scale.
Bluefield uses backpack-size satellites with proprietary optical sensors
to capture methane emissions data on each of the millions of sites
around the world.
Bluefield's CEO Yotam Ariel offered to talk to us about the tech.
Be sure to arrive on time as sitting places might be limited due to
current policies. We may be able to enable some form of online
participation. More on that later.
There is no entrance fee, but Dim Sum Labs appreciate your donations to
the space in order to continue to bring you such events.

I'll send a reminder closer to the date.
